Overview of the Exhibition: Textile, Clothing and Footwear Industry Base-High Demand-Unlimited Business Opportunities

Quanzhou, Jinjiang, Shishi, Changle, and Xiamen have successively been preliminarily rated as "China Textile Industry Base, China Shoe Capital, China Leisure Garment Famous Town, China Sports Garment Famous Town, China Underwear Famous Town, China Western Pants Famous Town, and World Jacket Capital". Currently, a complete industrial chain has been formed, covering silk drawing, weaving, dyeing and finishing, as well as garment production. The garment, footwear, and handbag industry in Fujian, which is primarily manufacturing-oriented, holds a pivotal position nationwide. Sewing equipment has been widely used in industries such as clothing, footwear, leather goods, hats, and handbags. In 2026, the exhibition organizers will make another effort to continue inviting internationally renowned enterprises and business associations to participate in the Fujian Sewing Equipment Exhibition. It is expected that this year's exhibition will cover an area of 20,000 square meters, attracting over 600 exhibitors and more than 30,000 participants from related enterprises. Positioned as the only professional international sewing equipment exhibition in the Western Taiwan Strait (Fujian), it is sure to inject new vitality into the industry market, open up the Fujian market for technology-leading  companies and specialized enterprises, and bring more business opportunities.

Nearly 10,000 enterprises in Haixi are eager for new equipment, new technologies, and new materials.

Quanzhou's Jinjiang area hosts 16,833 footwear and apparel enterprises with annual output values exceeding 10 million yuan, including 853 companies generating over 100 million yuan. The region is home to four renowned garment towns: Yinglin, Shenhu, Hanjiang, and Lingxiu. The Jinjiang area alone boasts nearly 32,000 footwear and apparel manufacturers, while Shishi County alone has 6,700 such enterprises, collectively producing goods worth over 100 billion yuan. As a burgeoning footwear and apparel industrial hub, the area demonstrates strong demand for various sewing equipment, with this need showing a steady upward trend.

The previous exhibition concluded on November 29,2025, with a record-breaking opening day of 9,618 visitors. The venue was packed with enthusiastic crowds, and exhibitors reported booming business. Attendees primarily came from Fujian Province, including cities like Jinjiang, Quanzhou, Shishi, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Changle, Putian, Shantou, and Chaozhou. Companies highlighted Jinjiang's status as a key industrial base, noting that nearly 50% of China's sports footwear and apparel industry is concentrated in Quanzhou. This exhibition stands as Fujian's only large-scale sewing equipment trade show.
